Christmas is over and everyone has their gifts 🎁. However, there is always the gift card that needs to be spent before it burns a whole in our pockets, right? Back in September, I posted a blog about travel products I purchased for a trip to the Northeast. This blog reviews whether the products are worth the money for a traveler or travel blogger.

All of the products discussed were purchased from Amazon. Here we go!

1. Sunglasses 👍🏻

These sunglasses come in a dual pack and are very well made. At first on vacation, they seemed really big for my face and I had to get used to that. I finally decided to go with them as they seem to be the latest style and work great as a headband for when the sun is not out!!

2. Collapsible Water Bottle 👍🏻

This water bottle worked great and was lighter to carry on vacation. It was easy to collapse between flights. The top part, however, is a little hard to twist if you have any sort of joint pain. Overall, worth the price!

3. Selfie Ring Light 💁🏻‍♀️

This product I will have to admit I did not use on the trip. All of the pictures that I took used the natural light of the outdoors. I can see myself using the ring light for Instagram Reels which is a goal for 2022.

4. Portable Charger 👍🏻 👍🏻

This portable charger is well worth the price. I used this numerous times on vacation and have actually used it since I have been home. I have two different portable chargers and I like this one the best as you can hook it around your pinky to hold it instead of my other one that has to go in your pocket. It lasts 3 times of charging my phone to a full charge before having to charge up the portable charger.

5. Cell Phone Lanyard 👎

This product I would pass on next time. It is a great idea to hold your cell phone and allows you to take a pictures easily. However, when you are not standing still and walking from place to place, the phone and the lanyard bounce off your stomach repeatedly giving you a unwelcome workout!! 🤣🤣

6. Travel Blog Planner 👍🏻👍🏻

This planner I took on vacation and kept track of the blogs that I was planning for the Northeast trip. I used the ideal reader profile section in fine tuning my blogs and the product review section to keep track of the travel products. I have yet to use the writing prompts, however, will definitely use these in the future. There are over 100 prompts to choose from!!

7. Waterproof Cell Phone Lanyard👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This waterproof cell phone lanyard was purchased right before the trip and they come in a 4 pack. This was a lifesaving product and well worth the purchase!! I used it at Niagara Falls at the Maid of the Mist ride and got drenched but my phone was completely dry!! I also used it at a Whale Watching tour and my phone stayed dry as well. When using the lanyard, the material allows you to still text and click icons on your phone. Definitely worth it if you are around water on your trips!!
